I'm DJ Stephens, and my football journey began in Pacoima, California, where I was born and raised. Growing up in this tight-knit community, sports became an integral part of my life, but football quickly became the game that would define my future. At the age of six, I stepped onto the field for the first time, and from that moment, football became my passion. My early years led me to Kennedy High School in Granada Hills, where I further honed my skills. From there, I moved on to College of the Canyons and later to the University of Arkansas at Monticello, where I competed at the collegiate level. After college, my journey took me to the Arena Football League, where I played for nine years and achieved a remarkable level of success. Throughout my career, I had the honor of winning three championships, a testament to the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that shaped my playing days.Transitioning from player to coach felt like a natural next step. For the last decade, I've been coaching at the high school level, focusing on developing young athletes not just in their physical abilities but in their character and discipline both on and off the field. With over 20 years of football experience, the sport has shaped my life in profound ways, and I'm passionate about passing on everything I've learned to the next generation of players.
